In 2019, the game’s best players will compete for Rugby’s ultimate prize at the Rugby World Cup in Japan. 48 matches will take place across 12 stadiums with an estimated 1.8 million fans attending the games to cheer their teams to glory.
As a Worldwide Partner of Rugby World Cup 2015, Land Rover were at the heart of action, recruiting the 96 mascots for 48 games. Special Vehicle Operations built a unique Land Rover Defender to take the Webb Ellis Cup on a 100-day tour around the UK and Ireland before its arrival at Twickenham Stadium.
